Leaving their fatherhood roles
Unfortunately, some men abdicated their God-ordained positions as protectors, providers, and leaders. They have become consumed by their selfishness. In the process, they have left an entire generation to fend for themselves without any manly guidance or supervision. Men who do this rarely realize that they are not just influencing the course of their lives but the life of generations after them. To make matters worse, they continue to claim to be men of faith with the slightest clue that they are giving Christianity a bad name in their selfishness.
The epidemic of the Invisible Dad
There is an epidemic of the invisible father. This epidemic is one of the most debilitating forces in today’s society. It is working against God’s design for the family. There is a generation of young people who are lost without identities and living in the absence of self-worth. If people don’t do anything about it, this nation will fade into the abyss of moral decay, and what would happen to the next generation? How bad can it get for us? Give evil an open door, and it would not hesitate to purge the nation of its morality.
Growing up fatherless
Individuals who grew up fatherless, in one way or another, have asked, “Where is my father?” “Why isn’t he here?” “Does he love me?” at one point or another. The Bible says to train up a child in the way it should go. When he is old, he will not depart from it (Prov. 22:6). If no one is taking responsibility for doing it, especially since it is the father’s responsibility to do so, there would be severe consequences. It makes perfect sense that Satan wants to propagate fatherlessness in society.
