Let’s start off with an activity. Do this with me right now:

Write down three (3) things that you have spoken that has come to reality.

You can share with me your answers in the comment box below, or you can keep it for yourself. But I encourage you to do this activity.

According to James 2:17, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead. We should make sure that we act on the impossibilities we might be facing – so that it may become a possibility.

SPEAK A NEW POSSIBILITY INTO REALITY.

When you pursue a new possibility, it propels you toward the possibility you desire. It puts you in the position of being willing to do what is required in order to get to that possibility. This is a positive action that makes you focus more on what is needed than what you feel like.

A good example for this is Paul. When he was getting persecuted, he did not falter to look at the brighter side. In fact, he even said these very words:
“Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and the perfecter of faith. For the joy set before him he endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. Consider him who endured such opposition from sinners, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart” (Hebrews 12:1-3)
When we are marked out to finish something, we do not react – but we act on it. We become positive and start doing what is needed to be done. We look at things more optimistically. We become a person of possibility – a person who is better than the person he is before.
