The heavens belong to God

This is why the scripture tells us that the heavens belong to God, but the earth we currently live in is in the disposition of man.

After God rested, man was expected to replenish the earth, to reproduce and to take over the entire earth. This is why the scripture tells us that the heavens belong to God, but the earth we currently live in is in the disposition of man. If we look very closely, the state of the earth today is a direct result of the activity of man. The challenges we face with food, wars, crimes, climate change, amongst others, are a direct result of our actions or inactions. God has given the dominion to man, but man is expected to be under the influence of God to really make the earth like heaven.

In the Bible, we see Moses and the entire nation of Israel in the desert, moving towards Egypt. At one time, God revealed to Moses how he wanted the tabernacle to be built. After these instructions were given, two men were endowed with the anointing to produce cunning works. These men were named Bezalel and Oholiab. These two men were able to translate heavenly designs into earthly artifacts.
