Thus, in this worldview, we are able to see that Man’s urgent, necessary, and ultimate breakthrough is restoration of fellowship with God through Jesus Christ. Like St. Paul, we can boast and display all the treasures and credentials that we have achieved in life. But without Christ, those achievements, those values, and those powers are all rubbish. This is not an overrated statement, but a Pauline speech-act pronounced in the sight of God. “For what profit is it to a man if he gains the whole world, and is himself destroyed or lost?”(Lk. 9:25).
Therefore, life’s greatest breakthrough is to encounter the Cross of Jesus, nothing more, nothing else.

Lord, I thank you for what you have done in my life so far. Thank you for your wisdom and insight into your word. I pray that you bring me to a place where I can achieve anything for you. Scripture tells us that with you we can do all things. Help me to fulfill the purpose for which I am here. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.
