Conversations for actions also include declarations. What are declarations? They are simply statements that describe what the status-quo will be from that time forward. In other words, a declaration, in a way, divorces itself from the current prevailing realities, and creates a new one from that point forward. It is more like the beginning of something new and a new reality being birthed.

 

For instance, the bible tells us that God can decree a thing and it will surely be established. In this case, it does not matter if such a thing has been in existence before, all that matters is what is being said. When God began to make the heaven and the earth in the beginning, He simply called into existence everything He wanted. The whole of the heaven and the earth was created out of nothing. The writer of Hebrews confirms this by saying, “Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear” (Heb. 1:3, KJV).

So, God started by saying, “Let there be light.” That was a declaration, and after this declaration there was manifestation. The same also happened on the second day, on the third day, on the fourth day, until the day God rested from all His works. This is one reason why the book of Hebrews also says that God’s word is quick and powerful, other translations say God’s word is living and active.

The prophet Isaiah also wrote that whenever God sends a word out, it always accomplishes His purposes. God’s word never returns to Him without results.

Conversations for action also involve making requests. These requests could be between two or more parties. A request can simply be defined as a person placing a demand on another person to do a certain thing or to act in a certain way. In the scriptures, they are requests from God to man, from man to God, and from man to his fellow men.
